Today I was confronted with a question that I didn't have an answer to. 

It was about a topic that I had just been talking to my mentor about...a theme I have been playing out for the past several years, and one I am ready to let go of. 

I am aware of the purpose it has been serving in my life, the growth lessons I needed to learn and I am ready to move forward.  

Now BAM here I was, not two days later, being confronted with a very similar scenario and again not feeling like I had the right answer on what to do.  

The good news....I must surely be on an accelerated learning path for it to come so quickly.  The other news...I had no idea what to do.  

I am ready to hear the answer though so I decided to go on a Guidance Seeking Quest...

I am so blessed to live close to the Theosophical Society and enjoy the beautiful Sacred Space there, so I  got in my car and decided to go sit with Mother Mary and ask for some insight.

But she wasn't home!

Instead I found this sign :(

Then I noticed a stone path off to the side and I was sure I would find my answer there...so off I went.

But it was a dead end and led to nowhere... so I headed off to the Labyrinth to contemplate and find the answer there.

I started the journey with one foot in front of the other.

Part of the stones were covered in pebbles that hurt when I walked on them...but I was determined to find the answer so I kept walking.

But even after I went to the Center...completely surrendered, walked slowly back out of the Labyrinth, I still had no answer.  So off I went in search of the Buddha Meditation Garden.  Surely I would find the answer there.

I came across a secret entryway.  I thought I would find the Buddha Garden there.

Instead I saw a bunch of tangled branches.

Finally I emerged from the tangled secret trail and saw a lake surrounded by Willow Trees.  I knew I would find the answer there for sure.

I saw a bench and went to sit under the Willow Tree and listen to her Wisdom.

I sat for awhile but no answers came.  I decided to continue looking for the Buddha Garden.

On my journey I never found the Buddha Garden, what I came across instead was a Peace Pole which was so beautiful and the message was so powerful.
 
But still I had no answer to my questions so I headed home, hoping the answer would come soon.  

Dinner was cooked and eaten with the family but no answer came.

I decided  to pull three Oracle Cards trusting that the answer would be found there.  

And it was!  

Balance, Intention, and Free Will.  

The answer was within me all along.  Look to see if there is balance in the situation, go back to my intention, stop giving my power away, and own my power. 

I sat with the Wisdom for awhile.  Then I looked up the message of the Willow Tree.  

In the upright position Willow Tree says "Show your respect for all forms of life because this will help you to build a deep and lasting relationship with everything around you.  Spread harmony and understanding, and treat others in the way that you would like them to treat you."

In the reversed position Willow Tree says "A difficult person or situation is sounding a discordant note.  Do your best to understand other people's points of view, even if you don't agree with them.  You can lead by example, so show off your good nature."

So again I finally got my answer and it was perfect...Balance ~ Intention ~ Free Will 

With a little extra something from the Willow Tree and Jane Struthers, which was Icing on the cake!

A: The feeling realm and the element of water is going to be key this month.  Having an open heart on this Earth Journey is essential as we move forward toward living lives of greater joy and harmony.  

How are you when it comes to feeling your emotions and allowing yourself to feel fully what comes up for you?

 Or do you judge yourself and make yourself wrong?

 Do you stuff down your emotions?  

We all have coping mechanisms and I could say that there are healthy ones and unhealthy ones and that would be true...but when one's very survival feels like it is being threatened even an unhealthy coping mechanism helps one cope.  

So the question becomes...how can you have more healthy ones!  

Your Soul is telling you that it is time to Open your heart and allow yourself to FEEL more.  If you need extra support then reach out for it....but opening your Heart will be the greatest gift you can give yourself as you move into living life with PASSION and PURPOSE, whatever that looks like for you.  

You can sense your potential for creative or spiritual expansion (or both) at this time.  Pay attention to what you are feeling.  There is a wonderful unfoldment emerging for you.

 Can you see why it is so important to have an open heart?

In the helpful energy card we see that it is time to RELAX and stop trying to prove yourself to anybody or defend yourself to anybody.  You are YOU...no apologies...unless you are being a jerk of course.  But it is time to BE YOU without apology.

 Let in your Awesomeness.  Let in your Light, your True Essence.  

You do that by Opening your heart space and keeping it open as often as you can.  Sure it might close up at times when you feel afraid....but when you pay attention to what is coming up, face it in the present moment and allow it to be what it is, then having an open heart a majority of the time becomes easier and easier.

• Feeling emotionally overwhelmed
• Emotional spontaneity
• Overresponsibility

Can you see the theme showing up?

The advice suggested is:

1. Let your feelings out
2.  Allow others to support your emotional needs

So what does the final card suggest to bring it all together?

Well....it suggests you might get a really good opportunity to apply this information.  

It could be a past hurt or somebody might say something to you that hurts your feelings in the next few weeks.

Either way be sure to feel what comes up because that is the first step towards healing.  Just be present and willing to feel your emotions.

 You don't need to go digging around to bring up any old unresolved issues.  As long as you are present and aware of what you are feeling that will be the key!
