If you know anything about me you know I use Oracle Card Decks and Tarot Cards regularly. In 2013 I co-created a deck called Awakening To Your Divine Self with 38 other Artists, Healers and Teachers. I have many favorite decks but this one is super close to my heart for many reasons.
You don't have to be an "expert" in reading Oracle Cards in order to use them. They are a great way to jump start and/or deepen your Intuition.
In my humble opinion developing your Intuition is one of the most empowering things you can do for yourself as you go along your Earth Walk and reconnect to your True Essence.
There is no right or wrong way to work with Oracle Cards though I do suggest you work with them with Reverence for the Sacred connection it allows you to have with this amazing Universe and your Inner Wisdom.
Almost all Oracle Card Decks come with a Message booklet included with the deck. That booklet can be a wonderful tool to use when seeing what the meaning of the Card has for you, but don't start or stop there ~ Look at the image itself and "listen" to the messages. See, hear, feel and know the messages coming to you.
What jumps out at you? What do you notice first? Any colors really pop for you? What is the Title of the Card?
I'm going to use this perfect example of the simple use of Oracle Cards in my upcoming classes and workshops. I think it illustrates how powerful, simple and accurate they are, and I wanted to share with you :)
My 21 year old daughter has a health condition called Neurogenic Bladder. For whatever reason her nerves do not communicate properly with her brain to allow her muscles to relax so she can urinate normally. This manifested for her when she was 16 years old. At first it happened occasionally and she would have an indwelling catheter for a few days and then be fine. Eventually though it became more and more frequent that she could not empty her bladder normally and she had to learn to catheterize herself multiple times a day.

5 years ago she had a surgical procedure called Interstim where she had a battery and a wire with electrodes implanted to stimulate the bladder nerves. It was wonderfully successful.
Last Summer (2016) she needed to have a revision of that surgery. It was a 2 stage process and when completed she went back to Hawaii where she lives and attends school.
Not long after she arrived back on the Island she began having pain. Pain from the battery placement itself (they moved it during the revision), pain in her lower back, and pain from another area. That pain became unbearable and she could not complete her school year. She returned home in early May to have her Urologist see what was going on.
She once again needed surgery to: move the battery, take out the three existing wires, and see if they could get a new wire in place to properly stimulate her nerves so she could empty her bladder normally.
If they could not adequately stimulate her nerves they would take the battery out and she would have to go back to catheterizing herself multiple times a day.
The surgery was supposed to be about 2 hours long. After 2.5 hours I started to get super nervous. While I had been praying and trusting in the Divine no matter what the outcome ended up being, and I knew she had lots of wonderful people praying and sending her healing vibes, I was still getting very worried.
What if something went wrong? What if they couldn't get the stimulation they needed? How would she handle it if everything was taken out?
Thankfully I had my Awakening To Your Divine Self Oracle Card Deck with me :)
I asked for some insight on what I could expect and the card pulled was Tree of Life.

To me it symbolized Gianna's Nerve Endings. The Golden Seed meant they were able to get the Wire and Electrodes in the proper place and the little Swirls all around were showing Celebration.
